Overview
Orchid Beauty & Hair Salon was a new business looking to establish its first digital presence. With no existing website to build from, the project was an opportunity to create an online experience that introduced the salon, communicated its services, and gave potential clients a better sense of the space and experience before they ever walked through the door.
The goal was to make the website feel warm, premium, and approachable while keeping the experience straightforward to navigate. Rather than relying only on polished visuals, the design uses the salon's environment, work, services, and story to build familiarity and trust throughout the experience.
The Challenge
The challenge was to build the digital foundation for a brand that was starting from zero online. There was no existing website, content structure, or established digital experience, so the design needed to define how the salon should present itself as well as how visitors should move through the site.
The experience also needed to balance a premium visual direction with practical information. Visitors should be able to understand the salon, explore its services, see its work, and find a clear path toward getting in touch without the interface becoming overly complicated or decorative.
The Solution
I designed and developed the website from the ground up, starting with the content structure and visual direction before translating the experience into a responsive Framer build.
The final system brings together the salon's services, story, gallery, experience, contact information, and blog through a consistent visual language. Real imagery from the salon became an important part of the experience, helping the website feel connected to the physical space rather than like a generic beauty-industry template.
The site also includes a CMS-powered blog, responsive layouts, a custom contact experience, and the foundational SEO structure needed for the business to grow its online presence over time.
